Isaias Hernandez

About Isaias: Isaias is a Los Angeles and NYC-based creator with content focused on environmental education with a twist of art, comedy, and accessible information to fuse pop-culture with the environment. Isaias is the founder of QueerBrownVegan and the Sustainability Officer for The Citizen Tee Project. He has a degree in Environmental Science from UC Berkeley and was featured as a Harvard C-Change Climate Creator for 2023 and a Grist 50 2021 Fixer. He has worked with the White House and musician Billie Eilish and collaborates with multitudes of academic institutes, corporations, and non-profits to scale climate action work.

Isaias' "Eco Hot Take:" Being an environmentalist means recognizing your imperfections and validating our messy contradictions. We sometimes use plastic, we take flights, or take cars. We try our best to be sustainable but that doesn't mean we have always to be perfect, because that doesn't exist in nature.
