About Carissa: Carissa is a O'ahu-based creator with content focused on ocean conservation and climate education to create pathways to protecting our blue planet. Outside of social media, Carissa owns her own organization, FutureSwell. Carissa has a BS in Evolutionary and Ecological Biology, an MS in Marine Science, and 10+ years experience in building ocean conservation communities through education, running nonprofits, and scaling impact for organizations to protect endangered species.
